The 2025 Islander Middle School Track & Field season is just around the corner, and we’re excited for another year of competition, personal growth, and team spirit! With a full schedule of meets ahead, our athletes will have plenty of opportunities to challenge themselves, set new personal bests, and showcase their hard work.
First Day of Practice
March 31, Monday at 3:00 pm marks the start of our first practice, just 10 minutes after school dismissal at 2:50 pm. Athletes will gather at the on-campus track to kick off the season!

April 23 – Wednesday at Twin Falls Middle School – 3:30 pm start time – Early dismissal 1:20 pm
April 30 – Wednesday vs Chief Kanim Middle School at IMS – 3:30 pm start time – Early dismissal 1:20 pm
May 7 – Wednesday – at Tolt Middle School – 3:30 pm start time – Early dismissal 1:20 pm
May 14 – Wednesday – vs Snoqualmie Middle School at IMS – 3:30 pm start time – Early dismissal 1:20 pm
May 21 – Wednesday – League Finals at Tolt Middle School – 3:30 pm start time – Early dismissal 1:20 pm
Important Information
- Sports eligibility packet (including physical examination form) must be complete before attending practice.
- Athletes must participate in a minimum of 8 practices to be eligible to compete in Track & Field meets.
- Masks are optional for athletes, coaches and spectators, in accordance with Washington DOH guidelines.
- Athletes will be dismissed according to schedule above for AWAY Track & Field meets.
- Athletes change into uniforms at lunch for away meets. Buses depart 10 minutes after school dismissal.
- Athletes in Track & Field meets compete against their own grade and gender classification.
- Races may sometimes be combined for expediency, but results are reported separately.
